Angela Early

Angela Early is a postdoctoral fellow in the Malaria Group at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. A population geneticist, she looks at the genetic differences across individual malaria parasites to understand how these parasites interact with the immune system of the human host. Before joining the Broad, Angela received her PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Cornell University where she studied immune evolution using the fruit fly as a model system.
