Zhizhuo Zhang
Zhizhuo Zhang is a computational biologist who apply advance statistical and machine learning techniques to understand genetic component of complex diseases like Alzheimer disease. He is passionate about sequence specific regulatory grammar and the use of allelic specific intermediate phenotype like mRNA expression and epigenetic state to dissect the inter-play between DNA and disease pathology. Zhizhuo obtained his PhD in the computer science in National University of Singapore, and developed several software in DNA motif analysis and 3D genome re-construction. Now he is furthering her training as a post-doctoral associate in Dr. Manolis Kellis lab in MIT, and actively participate several large consortium projects, including GTEX, ENCODE, NIH Epigenome Roadmap.
